Mission

DaddyMoms is a site for full-time dads suddenly fulfilling the added role of mom. While every single dad has a difficult walk, I’m focused on men who, like me, have this role thrust upon him suddenly.

Suddenly single dads have to keep the world turning, while putting Cheerios on the table, holding his family together, and somehow making sense of it all for his children–and himself.

Around the time I realized there’s no end to the lessons to be learned, I also discovered the lack of resources for suddenly single dads like me. I can’t be the only one on this path; blazing my trail, it dawns on me how much more progress we can all make united. That’s when I opened my Mac and created this.

I’ve begun the work and hope others will join me.
